Leonard Bernstein: Candide

  • Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts (map)

Maestro James Bagwell conducts The Orchestra Now (TON) and soloists from the Bard Graduate Vocal Arts Program in a semi-staged concert performance of Leonard Bernstein's operetta Candide. This coming-of-age story—based on Voltaire's 1759 satirical novella of the same name—follows the hapless and naive Candide as he discovers that, contrary to his mentor's insistence, this world may not, in fact, be the best of all possible worlds.

Nathaniel will perform the roles of Voltaire, Dr. Pangloss, and Martin. Tickets are $25-$35. For more information and to purchase tickets, please click here.
