The NYC premiere of Liverman's latest large-scale composition, Songs of Humanity & Peace, produced by Mara Driscoll and Liz Yilmaz, seamlessly integrates dance from choreographer/performer Amina Vargas, unique illustrations from visual artist Marcela Avelar, and musical accompaniment from Grammy-nominated pianist Adam Tendler. Lyrical poetry crafted by Liverman, Jonathan King, Tesia Kwarteng, Sara Teasdale, and Frances Ellen Watkins Harper anchors this ambitious, nine-movement song cycle. Join us for an optimistic and clear-eyed musical exploration into how finding meaning in the small things can evoke our humanity, helping us move forward collectively and in beauty.

Nathaniel will join an ensemble of eight singers in two movements of Songs of Humanity & Peace.
