In memory of longtime beloved friend and collaborator Sanford Sylvan, The Blanche Moyse Chorale, conducted by Mary Westbrook-Geha, performs four cantatas by J. S. Bach:

• BWV 100: Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan

• BWV 105: Herr, gehe nicht ins Gericht mit deinem Knecht

• BWV 131: Aus der Tiefen rufe ich, Herr, zu dir

• BWV 140: Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme

These are four of the many cantatas and oratorios that Sandy performed over his 23-year tenure with the New England Bach Festival under the direction of Blanche Moyse. Sandy's longtime colleagues in the Chorale and Orchestra remember him fondly with these cantatas.
